UCAN Executive Director, Rev. Mike Schuenemeyer was present at the meetings, advocating for greater faith-based participation and resources in response to the HIV and AIDS epidemic in the U.S. and throughout the world. UCAN resources were on display at both the Ecumenical Pre-Conference and in the Global Village of the IAC. With many opportunities for networking, UCAN strengthened its capacity to offer techinical assistance to churches and other network partners. A number of other UCC clergy, lay leaders and Global Ministries' partners, including partners from Thailand, India and Africa, were also present.
