Programs for Young Adults
During General Synod we offer many ways for young adults to connect with one another, to engage in faith conversations around shared interests and ministries, and learn about ongoing and emerging events, internships and other opportunities for young adults in the United Church of Christ.  Workshops relevant to young adults will be offered as part of Sun Coast Saturday on July 2, the “HUB” will be a young adult gathering spot in the Exhibit Hall, and a pre-Synod event is being planned for young clergy by the 2030 Clergy Network (for those who still see themselves in ministry in the year 2030), people involved in the Young Adult Ecumenical Movement, and the Council for Youth and Young Adult Ministries (CYYAM).  Other events include Stillspeaking social opportunities, casual after hour gatherings, young adult delegate caucuses, and CYYAM  elections. Everyone is invited to the Young Adult lunch at Splitsvile Bowling Alley, sponsored by CYYAM (tickets are available through Synod registration).

We suggest you register early as the hotels tend to fill quickly. The Hyatt Regency has the largest room block and would be a good option for young adults wishing to connect with and find lodging near their peers. Please note, that the Hyatt and other hotel options are available through the General Synod Registration site on a first come first serve basis.
