The following resolutions and other items of business have been considered by delegates to the Twenty-eighth General Synod. They are posted here in their form at the time of Synod action and as a courtesy prior to formal approval.

All of the resolutions or other items of business adopted by Twenty-eighth General Synod are being forwarded to the appropriate ministry or agency of the Church for implementation. In the case of the Synod-approved amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws, the documents are now being prepared for presentation to the Conferences for ratification as required of ¶s 74 and 75 of the Constitution (2010 ed.).

Please be advised that these versions are not official until the Minutes of the Twenty-eighth General Synod are approved by the Executive Council. Approval of the minutes is expected in November 2011. Those circulating or citing the versions posted here are admonished to acknowledge the unofficial status of these documents. Final versions of the resolutions and other business items will be found within the body of the Minutes of the Twenty-eighth General Synod following approval by the Executive Council.
