The Conservation Fund's Resourceful Communities Program will hold its 2015 Healthy Eating, Active Living (HE/AL) Convening at the Franklinton Center at Bricks. The HE/AL movement emphasizes eating fresh foods and increasing physical activity. At this year's HE/AL Convening, organizations will explore local and national trends, strengthen skills to advance their HE/AL programming, and learn about successful strategies to help people get moving and eat healthy.
The Resourceful Communities program welcomes North Carolina community groups, nonprofits, church representatives and faith-based programs, community leaders and more. However, priority will be given to Tier 1 and Tier 2 counties. With an emphasis on triple bottom line framework, participants will see successful projects in action; develop skills to improve community programming; meet resource representatives who can help with your work; and get moving at the event's dance party!
