Our Faith Our VoteOver the past few months you have heard from the UCC Our Faith Our Vote campaign about the many reasons that people and communities of faith should be engaging in the elections. With less than a month to go, we're providing you with some ideas to ramp up your engagement.

Spend some time looking at the initiatives and candidates that will appear on your ballot. Despite the overwhelming media coverage, there has been little discussion of the issues in this election. Do you know the content of the ballot initiatives you're voting on? What are the issues that will determine your vote? Where do the candidates stand on the issues that you care about?

Interact with the candidates – use Twitter and Facebook to contact them with your questions. They need to know what you care about and you need to hear from them to make informed decisions.

Advanced
Advanced

Go big! Get a group together to attend a candidate forum or town hall. Hear from the candidates themselves about their stances. If you have a particular issue of concern, strategize with your group about ways to interaction with the candidates.
