Grant Application

Neighbors in Need grants are awarded to churches and organizations. These grants fund projects whose work ranges from direct service to community organizing and advocacy to address systemic injustice. Funding is provided through donations to the Neighbors in Need offering.

To ensure that your application receives full consideration, we encourage you to review the NIN guidelines to ensure that your project/program aligns with the mission of Justice and Witness Ministries.  For questions, please contact us at

The deadlines for grant applications are March 31st and September 30th of each year. You may complete the online application form below, submit it via email at, via fax at 216-736-3703, or submit it via USPS, Attn: NIN Grant Administrator, Justice and Witness Ministries, 700 Prospect Ave., Cleveland, Ohio  44115.

Online Application Helpful Hints:

  • When completing the NIN grant application please provide comprehensive answers.  Please know that the size of the box does not indicate the length of the desired response.  (These boxes can accommodate more text, and the square boxes can be expanded if so desired.)
  • For questions that require an extended answer, it may be helpful to first write your answer in a word processor and then cut and paste it into the online form.
  • Upon a successful submission of an application you will receive a confirmation.
