The video "UCC @ 50, Yesterday's Visionaries, Today's Voices" has been selected as a finalist for the Media Communications Association-International Golden Reel award.
The project was rated highly by a preliminary review panel and nominated for consideration in this years' awards.
The winning entry will be announced at the Media Festival Awards celebration Oct. 31, 2008 in Anaheim, Calif. The awards ceremony is scheduled in conjunction with the MCA-I ProTrack conference, held Oct. 31 to Nov. 1. The Rev. Art Cribbs, a former UCC communications director and pastor of San Marino (Calif.) Congregational UCC, will represent the UCC at the event.
The Golden Reel award celebrates excellence in media communications. Since 1978, Golden Reel honors have been highly coveted and recognized internationally for their prestige.
