The United Church of Christ's message of extravagant welcome for "All the People" will make 22 million "impressions" during its two week advertising run beginning Monday, Sept. 29 on national networks BET, BRAVO, CNN and TV One.
"Impressions" are the total number of times an ad is viewed, including multiple views by the same person. It is conservatively estimated that even with duplicate viewership, the message will reach from 12-15 million different individuals.
More than 60 percent of the broadcasts will occur during prime time, an extraordinarily high percentage given the overall size of the advertising purchase.
The ad run also includes multiple "billboards" – 5 second voiceovers at the end of a show, during which the announcer will say "The United Church of Christ, where God is still speaking."
A generalized schedule has been published indicating the wide-range time slots where the ad will be shown. More specific details on airing will be updated at <ucc.org/allthepeople/TV-schedule.html>
