Sheri White, daughter of former UCC executive, featured on NPR's 'This I Believe'

Sheri White, daughter of former UCC Wider Church Ministries Executive Minister Olivia Masih White, was featured on NPR's "This I Believe" radio program Feb. 26.
White's essay, "Seeing Beyond Our Differences," speaks of her mother's background in genetics, her family's diversity and her own experience as a scientist, saying, "I believe there is more that unites us than divides us."

White is an assistant scientist in the Deep Submergence Lab at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. She has engineering degrees from Purdue University as well as a Ph.D. in marine geophysics. White lives with her wife in East Falmouth, Mass.
