Calling Congregations conference invites 'young, transformative' leaders

Hosted by the Fund for Theological Education, the 2011
Calling Congregations Conference will be held Oct. 6-8 at the Georgia Tech
Hotel & Conference Center in Atlanta.
The conference will feature guest
speakers Parker J. Palmer - founder and senior partner of the Center for
Courage & Renewal - and the Rev. Eustacia Moffett Marshall, and will
comprise a variety of denominations, racial/ethnic backgrounds, generations and
geographies.
Calling Congregations is designed to help clergy, laypeople
and anyone else with a stake in the future of church leadership to develop
processes for nurturing young, transformative church leaders. Instead of
traditional panels and keynote sessions, participants work in facilitated small
groups.
Registration fees range from $150
