At the Newseum in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday Oct. 7, the FCC chair paid tribute to the legacy of the Rev. Everett Parker and the 50th anniversary of his ground-breaking petition --which gave ordinary people a voice in FCC proceedings to make sure that the principle means of communications in the United States would serve everybody—during 32nd Annual Everett C.
