Developing new churches requires a unique and specific set of skills that must be trained and nurtured in our leaders. The modern predicament facing progressive evangelism efforts is that our resources for leadership development are sparse and under-developed. The New Church Leadership Initiative, in partnership with Local Church Ministries, the Southeast Conference, Lancaster Theological Seminary and Candler School of Theology at Emory University, is a focused initiative developed to change that.

August 9-13, 2010! We will explore The Seven Secrets of vital, progressive, transformational church leadership. Whether you are exploring being a church planter or are working to renew existing congregations, this conference will provide inspiration and practical tools for making your ministry more effective.
This year’s conference will include: Four diverse, inspiring and educational worship experiences.
Seven plenary sessions led by world-renowned experts on the seven secrets to becoming an effective church leader.
Thirty-three workshops led by 24 specialists. These workshops will benefit church planting and revitalization teams from local churches, and conference and denominational leaders. You will be able to choose from a wide-range of options to meet your needs.
Networking time with colleagues, including Yvette Flunder and Doug Pagitt.
