Join Us in Kansas City!

Greetings from the National Setting of the United Church of Christ!

On behalf of the United Church of Christ Musicians National Network (UCCMNN), I would like to extend an invitation to you to attend the 2012 UCCMNN conference in Kansas City, Missouri.  The conference begins on Friday afternoon, June 22, 2012, and ends with dinner on Monday, June 25, 2012.  (We'll end with a Jack Stack Kansas City BBQ!)

This is a wonderful opportunity to RENEW your ministry, REFRESH your spirit, and RE-IMAGINE them both!  Join musicians, pastors, worship planners, and artists from all over the U.S. as we come together for four days of inspiration, fellowship, worship, and fun.

Join Maren Tirabassi, Paul Hobson Sadler, Christopher Grundy, and Craig Courtney as they challenge us to think in new ways and move us to remember the depth and joy of our service to the church.

New this year: pre-conference events, shared plenaries, more workshop sessions (with three sessions on Monday!) and a book store offered by The Pilgrim Press.

Check the conference schedule for a look at what's in store.  Make sure to arrive in Kansas City in plenty of time.  You'll want to settle into the hotel and share some informal time with other attendees.

If you're a first time attendee, we have a discount for you!  Really!

Registration is now open.  But, hurry.  You need to register by May 22, 2012.

Just a note for your church councils, boards, worship committees, and others... make sure you let them know that your attendance at the 2012 UCCMNN event will be an asset to your ministry.  It's not a vacation (though we hope you'll leave refreshed!).  It shouldn't be counted against your time off.  If you want me to drop them a line, just let me know.  I'm more than happy to help.

I hope to see you in Kansas City.  Everything's up-to-date (I couldn't resist) and waiting.

Blessings,

Rev. Scott A. Ressman

Minister for Worship, Music, and Liturgical Arts
