Led by the Christian Education Committee and Sunday School children, the United Church of Hinesburg collected 150 cans of soup for the Hinesburg Food Shelf in October and November.  Monetary donations during that time of $137.66 will be sent to help support the UCC Neighbors in Need and East Africa Famine-Related Ministries.  On Mission Sunday (November 13) the congregation remembered community members we want to keep in our prayers and be actively helping throughout the year with hunger related issues.  In celebration of Mission Sunday, the Sunday School children planted 137 daffodil bulbs around the church sign.
