• Master of Divinity degree from an accredited seminary
• A Call to ministry in the United Church of Christ

• Persons seeking to be ordained in the United Church of Christ must first come In Care of an Association.

• This Association is the same where the local church in which the candidate is a member holds its standing in the United Church of Christ.

If you are already ordained in another denomination and wish to become United Church of Christ, you would contact the Association where you currently reside (the Association contact can be made through the minister of a local United Church of Christ congregation) and seek Privilege of Call.
