The Reverend Ervin E. Milton serves as Team Leader in Justice and Witness Ministries of The United Church of Christ. With this responsibility, he serves as Director of Franklinton Center at Bricks, a Conference and Retreat Center in Whitakers, North Carolina. Additionally, Ervin serves as Pastor of Union Chapel UCC in Burlington, NC.
Previously, Rev. Milton served as Associate Conference Minister for Eastern North Carolina of the Southern Conference, UCC and as Southern Regional Associate for the Office for Church Life and Leadership. Ervin has served many organizations which include the Ecumenical Partnership Committee for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the UCC; Vice-President of the United Church Board for World Ministries (now Wider Church Ministries); The Board of Trustees at Elon University and Shaw Divinity School in Raleigh, NC.

Ervin is married to the former Louise Thompson, and they have four children: Terrill Eugene, Catherine Elizabeth, Gregory Ervin, and Rodney Eric. He has a daughter/grand daughter: Alexis and two grand sons: Xavier and Zackery.
Ervin Milton’s passion is that of making the world around him a place where “fairness” and justice are experienced by all. His hobbies include gardening and casual conversation.
