Dear Friends,

I regret to inform you that we will no longer be able to fund the Higher Education Scholarship Program in Justice and Witness Ministries beginning January 1, 2011.  Budget reductions this year required deep cuts in many of our programs. The HESP is one of them.  I know that this scholarship has been a source of financial support for you, so it is especially hard to inform you of this decision. 

Please contact the financial aid advisor in your school to explore what other grants and scholarships may be available.  There are Web sites that list sources of financial aide. We recommend the following: http://www.students.gov/STUGOVWebApp/Public

For those of  you who are UCC members we refer you to our college and university scholarships.
