Water is expected to be the planet’s most critical resource in coming decades. Currently, more than one billion people worldwide lack access to safe drinking water. Children die every day from water-related diseases. Despite the shortages, some people see water as a commodity to be bought and sold to the highest bidder. Faith teaches us that water is a right given to all and one that we should ensure is available.
