Ponder: Around and around and around [the traffic] goes – when it stops (and it will – causing backups and delays!) nobody knows!
Labyrinths are a form of prayer precisely because they make sure you go nowhere – and take your time doing it. And maybe they help us remember that every moment we spend on this carousel of life is meant to be prayer, too.
Pray: God, in the midst of today’s never-ending-circle of traffic-work-traffic-errands-family-sleep-traffic-work, help me pause – at least for a moment – to go nowhere, to do nothing, and be grateful for it. Amen.
