Ponder: One December, it was Chef Boyardee, Hamburger Helper, and other things we never eat thrown in a cardboard box by the sympathetic. Another year, we gave thanks over a hot soup of organic sweet potatoes, fresh herbs, and happy chickens. Bethlehem means “house of bread,” and yet, during Advent, it still feels like revolution to teach our children to sing this simple table grace.

Pray: God bless to us our bread. And give food to all those who are hungry and hunger for justice to those who are fed. God bless to us our bread. (from Argentina)

Orar: Bendice Señor nuestro pan. Y da pan a los que tienen hambre. Y hambre de justicia a los que tienen pan. Bendice Señor nuestro pan.
