Ponder: Who are you, and who is God, in this parable of journey? Are you the beast of burden, the cowboy-footed walker striding confidently, the crack in the asphalt? Is God casting a shadow, leading you gently, the pothole up ahead? Or Someone else entirely?

Pray: Jesus, you walk among us, the last, the least, the lost. Help us to see you today. Help us to see ourselves today, and keep moving forward.
