Since the humanitarian crisis began in 2004, displacing 2.5 million persons and claiming the lives of over 200,000 people, the United Church of Christ has provided more than $115,000 for food, shelter, water, sanitation and other humanitarian assistance.
In the coming year, we have made a pledge to raise an additional $35,000 to support continued humanitarian assistance as well as peace building.
To make a donation:
1. Make gifts payable to your UCC Congregation, marked for "Sudan/Darfur Crisis" in the memo portion, and send to your Conference Office with a note asking that the gift be forwarded to Wider Church Ministries; 700 Prospect Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44115.
