God is Still Building…(and we're here to help)

The mission of the Church Building & Loan Fund (CB&LF) is to assist new and renewing congregations, who are planning to buy a first house of worship or land site, or who want to build, renovate, or refinance.

Check out our New Loan Rates! We make loans up to $2,500,000 at below market interest rates, and we also partner with other lenders for larger projects.

Through our Partners in Building program, we work with local congregations and their conferences toward the goal of financial self-sufficiency that will qualify our Partners for their first loan.  This program provides valuable information on:  (1) the steps and requirements to obtain a loan; (2) real estate, legal, and insurance matters; and (3) issues relating to the ownership of property.  Additionally, this program is a great way to network and share fellowship stories.

For several years, we have held very successful Partners in Building (PIB) Events, and have received overwhelming, positive responses from our participants.  One participant indicated that attending this event "gives us hope and more energy to build our visions…"  If you want to build your "vision," please consider attending one of our events.  In 2013, we will host a PIB Event in the Pacific Northwest region.  Please check back later for more details.

The CB&LF offers Capital Campaign Services (and free Informational Meetings) to assist churches in raising revenue to expand its mission and outreach.  A Capital Campaign is a special event in a church’s life and a wonderful opportunity for congregational growth.  For the congregation as a whole it can result in a deeper understanding of stewardship.  For the individual members, it can be the greatest faith-raising experience of their lives.
